come as you are not as you should be
Broken people, getting healed, loving God, finding purpose.
Mission Statement:
The purpose of MORE Church is to tangibly encounter God. We believe in creating space for the Holy Spirit to move and to empower people to use their spiritual gifts. We are committed to building an atmosphere of grace, where being our authentic selves, building genuine community and passionately pursuing Jesus lead to life-changing transformation.
Values:
Encountering God:
A single encounter with God has the power to change your entire life. For that reason, our foremost mission is to cultivate an atmosphere where people can have a real and personal experience with God. It is in these divine encounters that chains are broken, purpose is awakened and destinies are revealed.
Grace:
Without grace, no one is worthy. We cherish God’s grace and actively look for opportunities to extend it to others. We believe that you should, “Come as you are, not as you should be” and let the Lord handle the rest. We are dedicated to creating a culture that rejects shame and embraces the kindness and mercy of a loving God.
Community:
We are passionate about building a community where people can be real, find belonging and grow together in faith. True transformation happens when we support, encourage and spur one another on to fulfill our God-given destiny.
We are a community of wildly different people centered around the person of Jesus. Whether you are religious, down and out, a prostitute, or a pharisee, you are welcome here. We believe Jesus' love and acceptance are for everyone, that Jesus and His life, death, and resurrection have provided grace and mercy for all. We believe you don't have to clean yourself up before you come to God or join our community.
